Marriage can become pretty routine after time. Days start to blend together and habits are created, some good, some bad. I honestly believe that in order for a marriage to be exceptional, you need to incorporate a marriage check-in. This can be completed weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly. It’s important to conduct a marriage check-in regardless of the number of years you have been married.

Communication really is key in a good marriage, so communicating through check-ins, especially, gives you and your spouse a good idea of where your marriage stands and how to make improvements to it.

Here are 30 questions you and your spouse can ask each other to make sure you’re on the same page and as happy as can be within your marriage:
