What is sleep anymore?
As a mom to a 9 month old, apparently it is completely normal to get up at 4:30 in the morning once your son wakes you up. This may not be the norm for most moms, but for this one I feel that there is much to do instead of sleeping. Anyone else out there similar to me? So, I’m sitting here watching ID sipping on coffee and editing photos already showered and packed for my short work trip to Chicago. Organized and well thought out or OCD? Ha, I am going with the first option. I have always been a morning person which is completely opposite of my other half. He needs his sleep like he needs oxygen. If he doesn’t get sleep one can pretty much brace themselves for a grumpy Jason. It is a very well-known fact that I need very little sleep to function and I actually pride myself on this. It enables me to get more stuff done is short amounts of time. Sure, some days the lack of sleep gets to me, but for the most part I can go about my work day as though I had slept 6-8 hours the night before. Now, don’t get me wrong…there are some days that I rely on coffee to keep my forehead from hitting my desk, but those days are far and few between. I hope as I’m typing this that you are all fast asleep as visions of sugarplums dance in your heads. HA, did you see what I did there? Morning dry humor, my bad! It’s almost Christmas, so for Pete’s sake, give me a break. 🙂 By the way, just who the heck is Pete? Ahh ha, alas here ya go with an answer to that question (https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20061124045608AArbkFI)- Now you may say, “Danielle, you need more sleep- you’re losing your damn mind” or you may say “So, that’s what that means? I was always curious”and to you good folks I say “you’re welcome.”
