Embrace Change
I don’t like change. I never have. I have prayed about my new journey for weeks now and it’s clear that this new journey is not only necessary, but it’s an amazing opportunity with an amazing company.
I wasn’t necessarily looking for a change, but it found me. It’s as though it came up to my front door, knocked politely and asked me to open up. I did. I was hesitant. I was nervous. More importantly, I was excited. I’ve accepted my new chapter in my life as a blessing. I’m embracing it with open arms and an open heart. It’s an amazing opportunity for myself and my family.
Change is hard. Mostly it’s hard because I have to say goodbye to those I have come to call friends and family the past few years. That’s the hardest part. I don’t like ‘good-byes’. I don’t do well with them. I don’t enjoy change. Never have, but I know it’s necessary to help my family and I accomplish our dreams.
I’m so fortunate to have met such amazing people in my my most recent adventure, and I’m even more blessed to say that some of them have made such an important impact in my life. I will never forget them. Any of them.
I’m so happy to know that so many of my colleagues are excited for my new journey. There is no resentment, no ill-wishes and no hard feelings. Though I will miss many, I’m very excited for my new challenging career and journey. I wish all of those I met along the way, all of the best!
I ask for continued prayers and support as I embrace my new chapter that starts June 15th.
