Beckett’s Taco Twosday Birthday Party
Beckett turned two on the 29th, and we celebrated his birthday with friends and family with a taco TWOsday theme. It was fun throwing together items for the party, and thankfully Amazon provided most of the decorations at an affordable price.
For snacks, I decided to not do actual tacos, but rather I baked mini tacos and chicken taquitos. I decided to do more finger food in order to allow people the opportunity to socialize more. I also made my famous buffalo chicken dip. Other snacks included BBQ meatballs, Fritos, fresh fruit (strawberries, grapes and blueberries), guacamole and chips and salsa.
For desert, I snagged the cutest little cake for Beckett along with cupcakes from Meijer. Their bakery does a really great job.
I loved the way this cake looked, and you guys…it was only $5.99!!!
The cupcakes were decorated to match, and although they didn’t include all of the colors I asked for, I think they still turned out nice especially with the cupcake toppers.
I snagged the cupcake toppers from Amazon. They were inexpensive and perfect additions for the cupcakes to give them that fiesta feel.
For the actual decorations, I again relied on Amazon. The maracas were $13 for 12 pairs, which was the best little giveaway for the kiddos. The hanging decorations also came from amazon. I snagged some cute bracelets to match as well as well as little sombrero headbands. I also purchased the tablecloths from amazon. Spent under $50 for the decorations!
There was a ton more I could have done as far as decorations, but I didn’t want to do too much. We had a pretty low-key party, so I just didn’t feel it was necessary to go all out.
Here’s some photos from his party.
Beckett is an incredibly special little boy. He’s so loved, and it’s clear by those who showed up to celebrate him.
I loved the Taco TWOsday theme, and hope you enjoy this theme as well.
Happy birthday to me sweet little, Beck!!
