Questions For Self-Discovery and Growth
If you’re just starting out on your journey in self-discovery, here are 52 questions to help get you thinking deeper.
Take your time. Take each question and statement in. If you like to journal, I highly suggest you write each question down and record your response. Some will invoke more raw emotion and thought, while others are easier to answer move on from. Some might cause your to be angry, sad or resentful, while others might make you feel relief, joy and gratitude. Whatever emotion you experience, remember to be gentle on yourself.
There are 52 questions listed below. Tackle them however you want. Tackle a few a day, one a week or all at once. Do it in your own time, on your own terms and in a place where you are most comfortable.

- What do I need to hear today? What would be uplifting?
- What answers am I seeking? What advice do I need to give myself right now?
- What am I currently holding myself back from?
- What do I need to get off my chest today?
- What is going well in my life right now?
- What needs to change in my life right now?
- As of today, what is my vision in the next 5 years?
- What feels like a struggle right now?
- What are my greatest strengths? How are they supporting me to achieve my vision?
- What are my weaknesses? What I am I doing to improve on them?
- What stresses me out? How I can reduce the stress?
- What doubts do I currently have? How can I ease them?
- What drains my energy? How can I remove it from my life?
- What makes life feel complicated? How can I simplify my life in little ways?
- What makes me feel motivated, inspired, excited?
- How am I feeling emotionally and physically? Why do I feel this way?
- What am I currently doing for myself? Am I taking care of myself the way I should?
- Whats overwhelming me right now? How can I reduce it?
- How can I support myself more? How can I support others?
- On a scale of 1 – 10, where am I when it comes to being calm and centered when dealing with challenging situations?
- How can I make more time to do the things I love?
- What does living intentionally mean to me?
- What do I judge myself for? What can I do to judge myself less?
- How much do I trust myself? Do I listen to others more than myself?
- What traits do I like about myself? How can I use them to my advantage?
- What traits don’t I like about myself? How can I work on fixing those traits?
- Am I being authentic? What’s holding my back from being more authentic?
- What thought have I been repeating in my head lately? Are they true?
- Why do I hesitate or refuse to take action on what my heart tells me?
- How am I showing up for my family? How can I show up more?
- How am I showing up for my work colleagues? I can I show up more?
- What do I want to accomplish today, tomorrow? Why?
- What’s behind my hesitancy to set personal boundaries, both in general and in particular situations?
- What can I do to better nurture and support my mind, body and soul?
- What am I missing right now? Is there a void you need to fill?
- What’s my biggest dream?
- Do I surround myself with mostly positive or mostly negative people?
- What matters most to me?
- Am I currently living with any regrets in my life so far? What changes can I make so I don’t continue to live with regrets
- What is my biggest fear? How can I overcome it?
- What is my life’s purpose?
- How do I feel about my relationship with my body?
- What three words best describe me?
- What needs do I have that aren’t getting met?
- When do I feel most like myself? How can I incorporate that daily in my routine?
- Am I being the best wife, mother, friend, sister, daughter than I can be?
- Who do I need to forgive?
- What do I need to let go of?
- What is one thing I need to change today?
- Do I feel supported by my family or friends? Who supports me or who doesn’t?
- What limiting beliefs impact my life in undesirable ways? Where are those beliefs coming from?

These are truly thought-provoking questions that we should all ponder and answer for ourselves. I just finished re-reading the Secret and a couple of other mind-set books that helps me to stay motivated and my goal of getting rich and helping other business women to do the same. So much you can learn about yourself just by answering these questions honestly. Oftentimes, I think many of us try to brush off our true feelings and we aren’t honest with ourselves when we need to be most.
Great questions to ask yourself. I usually spend a few minutes each day for meditation. I definitely need to add some of these questions for self reflection.
