Raw Generation 5-Day Juice Cleanse
Following the holidays, I felt bloated and sluggish. I gained a few pounds of “happy” weight, but quickly came to realize that what I was feeling was due to my less than healthy eating. Normally, I’m a relatively healthy eater, and I work out regularly, but there were things I was doing that was contributing to my sluggish and bloated feeling. I don’t eat as many vegetables as I should, plus I eat a lot of Carbs. I eat more processed foods that I should also, but I’m hoping this cleanse will help kick those habits.
I finally came to a rather blunt realization recently that challenged me to look at my healthy differently, which is what lead me to a juice cleanse.
I did my research as to what cleanse made more sense, and Raw Generation kept coming up, so I decided to go with this one.
It’s convenient because it’s cold-pressed, flash frozen and delivered directly to my home. The particular cleanse I chose would help me lose weight, get more energy, cleanse and detoxify. I also wanted something plant-based and 100% raw juice from fruits and vegetables.
Each bottle is mostly vegetables so I get the high concentration of nutrition, but the fruit adds to the flavor. I will be drinking 5-6 bottles a day.
Here is a breakdown of each drink along with the ingredients:
- Energy & Endurance: (2 bottles per day) apple juice, kale juice, spinach juice, collard green juice, lemon juice, and filtered water.
- Beauty & Brilliance: (1 bottle per day) orange juice, carrot juice, lemon juice, ginger juice, and filtered water.
- Slim & Strong: (1 bottle per day) carrot juice, apple juice, beet juice, lemon juice, and filtered water.
- Heal & Hydrate: (1 bottle per day) pineapple juice, cucumber juice, aloe vera juice, and filtered water.
- Refresh & Revitalize: (1 bottle per day) green apple juice, cucumber juice, celery juice, spinach juice, lemon juice, and filtered water.
Ii chose to start the cleanse on a Sunday verses a Monday because I wanted to make sure that my stomach would tolerate the change in diet. I didn’t prepare for the cleanse like I should have, but I’m ready to see how this cleanse positively effects my body.
I’ll post an update mid-way through and following the 5-day cleanse.
What an interesting cleanse! Sounds super healthy. I hope it goes well for you!
I just got back from a vacation where I ate entirely too much food lol. While the food was delicious, I just went a bit overboard. I’m thinking about doing a cleanse to reset. Perhaps I’ll add this to my list of cleanses to consider.
