If you ask any child, more than likely one of their favorite holidays is Halloween. Some might argue that it ranks second to Christmas, but there’s no denying that most kids find Halloween alluring. If I had to guess, some of that allure would include the mere fact that Halloween includes dressing up as your favorite superhero or monster and causing mischief while trick-or-treating with friends and family. Then there’s the pumpkin carving and enjoying some Halloween movie classics, which is why I’m sharing some of the best Halloween movies to enjoy with family this spooky season.

Happy Halloween Scooby Doo! (2020)
This full-length Halloween movie stars Scooby and the gang as they join forces with Bill Nye and Elvira when toxic ooze creates an army of monstrous pumpkins. What kid doesn’t love a good Scooby Doo movie?
Spookley the Square Pumpkin (2004)
A scarecrow and a spider trio help an odd-shaped pumpkin overcome his feelings of shame and inadequacy. This is an important movie that shares teamwork and teaches kids a great lesson on friendship and encouragement.

It’s the Great Pumpkin: Charlie Brown (1966)
Will this Halloween be the one when the Great Pumpkin comes? Longtime believer Linus thinks so, and keeps watch all night in the pumpkin patch to welcome him. Your whole family will be glad it crashed this party. Good grief, you can’t help but have a happy Halloween! This movie is a family classic and will be for years to come!
