Easy Beef Stroganoff Recipe
I enjoy making fast and easy meals because my family is constantly on the go. This is certainly becoming one of my go-to recipes, and it’s easy to make and so delicious!
There are a handful of ingredients, so it’s quick to make. It’s also an easy leftover option, so without rambling on and on about how tasty and easy-to-make it is, here’s the recipe!
Ingredients
- 1 (16 ounce) package egg noodles
- 2 pounds of ground beef (we substitute ground turkey)
- 2 (10.75 ounce) can fat free condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 cup of sour cream
- 1 cup of milk (we used fat free skim)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil egg noodles according to directions, strain, and put them to the side.
- In a separate large pan or skillet, cook the ground beef (or turkey) until browned. Make sure to drain the fat.
- Add in soup and garlic powder to the browned meat, let it simmer for 10 minutes, and stir occasionally.
- Remove from heat and combine the meat mixture with the egg noodles. Add in sour cream and the milk
- Stir well, and add in salt and pepper to taste.
You can tweak this in several ways. I added onion to my recipe, but you can add additional spices and veggies for flavor. Not only is this dish super easy to make, but it’s flavorful and a dish everyone in the family will enjoy.
