Peanut Butter Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies
These peanut butter banana chocolate chip cookies are extra soft, a little more gooey and packed with extra flavor. If you like chocolate chip cookies with a combination of peanut butter and banana, then these are for you. I’m a huge banana bread fan, and I’m also a huge peanut butter chocolate chip cookie fan, so it only made sense to combine two of my favorite things to make this new household favorite.
These cookies will be the softest, thickest, chewiest chocolate chip cookies you’ll have ever, and I guarantee these will become a family favorite quickly, if not immediately.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup mash banana
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 cup chocolate salt
- 1/2 cup nuts (optional)
Instructions:
- Mix together butter, peanut butter and sugar in a large bowl and combine with egg, vanilla and mashed banana
- Mix in flour, baking soda ans salt
- Stir in chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350F degrees and line cookie sheets with parchment paper or aluminum foil
- Form the dough into 1.5-2 tablespoon balls and place 2 inches apart on cookie sheets
- Bake for 9-10 minutes or until the tops look golden. Allow to cook on tray for 5-10 minutes until cool.
