Chicken Pesto Pull Apart Sliders

These easy-to-make, chicken pesto pull apart sliders make for a quick and super easy, super tasty dinner! Plus, they’re a great leftover treat for lunch the next day!

These little guys are simply amazing, and they’re the perfect little dinner sandwich for anyone. Who doesn’t like pesto, melted cheese and chicken?

Ingredients:

  • 6 Slider Rolls, or tray buns
  • 1/4 cup Pesto
  • 1.5 cups Rotisserie Shredded Chicken
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Parsley
  • 1 teaspoon fresh minced garlic

Directions:

  1. Preheat the over to 375 degrees. Spray an 8 x 8 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Slice the dinner rolls in half.
  3. Spread the pesto sauce over the the bottom halves of the dinner rolls.
  4. Spread the chicken on top of the pesto and sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the chicken.
  5. Cover the top halves of the dinner rolls.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together the butter, garlic salt, minced garlic, and parsley.
  7. Brush the mixture over the top of the sliders and cover the dish with some aluminum foil.
  8. Bake 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
  9. Serve warm.
I bought rolls for this recipe, but by all means, if you’re feeling ambitious, make the rolls yourself. Enjoy!
