Chocolate Chip Banana Cookies
I have a serious sweet tooth. Like, I have zero control when it comes to sweets, but hey, yolo, am I right? I recently combined two of my favorite things: chocolate chip cookies and banana bread. I whipped up a batch of chocolate chip banana cookies, and man oh man, are they so dang good. Plus, they’re so easy to make. Whip up a batch of these bad boys in minutes.
Ingredients:
- 12 cup, softened butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 2 over-ripe mashed bananas
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
- Preheat over to 375 degrees
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all the dry ingredients
- Add in the butter, banana and vanilla extract with dry ingredients and whisk together
- Fold in the chocolate chips
- Place small balls of dough mixture on greased cookie sheet
- Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 10 minutes or until lightly golden brown
- Cool for 3-5 minutes
- Enjoy!
My kids even helped make these delicious cookies. Did they make a mess? You bet, but they loved helping mix the ingredients together only to enjoy them once they’d been baked.
