Quick and Easy French Toast
We don’t eat breakfast for dinner very often, but the cool Fall-like weather made me want something warm and Fall-ish. I’ve always whipped a recipe together for French Toast without much thought- because French Toast isn’t hard to make- but tonight I decided to think it through and use ingredients I knew would result in the most flavorful French Toast. This french toast was dynamite!
Ingredients:
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp honey
- 1/2 cup milk
- 4 slices of bread (cut into halves)
- Vietnamese cinnamon (to flavor)- I highly recommend Spice Merchant’s Vietnamese Cinnamon
- Powdered Sugar
Instructions:
- Place eggs, honey, cinnamon and milk into a medium bowl and whisk until combined
- Dip each halved slice of bread into the mixture and allow it to soak 15-20 seconds on each side.
- Use a non-stick pan over medium heat and place brad slices onto the pan. Cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Remove and service immediately with syrup and sprinkled powdered sugar on top.
Enjoy!
